My small gallery wall

My small Gallery wall

Almost a year ago I redesigned my whole room; I painted the walls, moved the furniture and bought a lot of new decorations. One thing I really wanted in my room was a gallery wall. I’d seen a lot of inspiration pictures for it on Pinterest and it made me so excited to design my own! At the thriftstore and in our attic I found some old photo frames. I printed out some pictures and found  posters at some furniture stores.

A couple of weeks ago I got an e-mail from a company named Drukwerknodig.nl, it’s a Dutch printshop and they asked me if I wanted to collaborate. Of course I wanted that, my first collaboration ever! That made me really happy. So, I dragged my boyfriend with me to take some pictures. Because I really wanted a cute and pretty picture from the happy couple to add to my gallery wall. And this was my chance! So we went to the beautiful, autumnal woods and took some photos.

The end result was surprisingly good since we took all the pictures with self-timer. So as happy as I was I edited the photo’s in Lightroom and picked out the best one for my gallery wall. I sent it to drukwerknodig.nl and they arranged everything for me. It was very easy and very fast cause only 2 working days later I received the poster in the mail! The quality is very good, the paper has a beautiful gloss and the photo is completely sharp. So, for the Dutchies among us, if you’re looking for a good and cheap company to get your posters from, check out drukwerknodig.nl. Or use the following link: www.drukwerknodig.nl/promotie/posters/

Besides posters, drukwerknodig.nl also prints and delivers roll-up banners (www.drukwerknodig.nl/presentatie/roll-up-banners/), photo’s on canvas, photo frames, bottle labels, menus, calendars a whole lot more. Everything you need for your home, garden or even your office!

But enough about drukwerknodig.nl, let’s get back to my gallery wall. To make the whole thing match I printed out some other autumnal photo’s. I also changed the quote on my letterboard into something fall-related! And it turned out very cozy in my opinion! Can’t wait to lit the scented candles, turn on my fairy-lights and watch some good movies in my bed. With, of course, a hot cup of tea! I’m just really a sucker for fall and autumn things. It’s the most cozy season of all!

Now I really want to re-decorate the rest of my room and make everything get this autumnal vibe with these beautiful colors! So maybe, in a next blogpost I’ll show the rest of my autumnal room! Because I´m having some great ideas in mind on how to decorate the rest of my room! Also found a couple of interesting DIY projects on Pinterest and Tiktok that I really want to try!

Do you change your room through the seasons? And do you have a gallery wall?

My secondhanded founds!

My secondhanded founds

As promised, I would show you all my thrifted/secondhanded clothing items. When I was collecting all the pieces I realized how much it actually is! I think almost 40 or 50% of my wardrobe is secondhanded. Not to be selfish but it does make me very proud and happy. this is my contribution to the environment! The clothing industry is one of the biggest environmental polluters, something not everyone thinks about…

No, I’m not going to give you a lecture about the environment today, I think you already know how bad it is. So, let’s talk about something more fun, fashion! As said, I have a lot of secondhanded clothes that I wanted to show you today. This are actually the clothes that I still wear right now. I am the kind of girl that is very quickly bored of clothes so there are some (secondhanded) pieces laying in the bottom of my wardrobe, waiting for a new home. Also a reason why I buy clothes so cheap… I think I talked about this before, about how I finally found my style and how I make a whole less bad buys than a couple of years ago.

But I digress again, let’s get to the point, for real now!

Let’s start off with the blouses, I am so in love with all three of them! And a funny thing, I found two exact the same blouses, but in different colors and in different thrift stores. And it’s also a pretty expensive brand so I am really happy with these dotted shirts. Very cute for layering this winter! The other blouse is, I think, my favorite. Totally my color and the fabric is very soft! All three are found in local thriftstores.

Next, three pair of jeans/pants! These are all found on Vinted, I actually never found any cute jeans or pants in a thriftstore. New challenge maybe? 😉 I got a basic black mom-jeans because that really is my go-to outfit, I wear a black mom-jeans almost every day. The other jeans is a checkered skinny jeans and the last, something I don’t wear a lot, a tiger-printed-flared-pants. A little out of my comfort zone but come one, it’s awesome right?!

Than I got two sweaters. The first one is a very thick and soft white sweater. It has a turtleneck and it is the most comfortable sweater I ever owned. I only wore it once because it’s a little to warm for now, but when winter really comes this is going to be my favorite. I bought this one on Vinted, a secondhanded website/app in Europe. The second sweater I found in a thriftstore, just a pretty basic but comfortable sweater, with a very cute leopard pattern!

Next stop, party clothes! This is actually something you can find in thriftstores so easily! Last week I found this amazing dress with golden glitter in a local thriftstore. I really can’t wait for Christmas now, it’s the perfect dress for it! For a wedding last summer I wanted a big midi skirt, found that one on United Wardrobe (another website/app but only in the Netherlands). And then I got two cute mesh tops, one longsleeve and one t-shirt. One from the thriftstore and one I got via Facebook.

Than, the last two clothing items, blazers! The first blazer, the checkered one I found online. It’s one of the first thing I got secondhanded, I wanted a blazer like that so bad but they were pretty so I started searching online. And even after 3 years or so, it still is one of my favorite items of all time! The black blazer I found in a thriftstore, I think it’s actually a man’s jacket but who cares. I don’t wear the blazer so often because I really don’t know how to combine it…

Okay, we’re almost there, last picture. Shoes! I never found any good shoes in a thrifstore so these are both from online webshops. Shoes are the only thing I really like to be branded, I just love Dr. Martens or Vans or Converse and I barely see those brands in thriftstores. But, online I did find the perfect pair of Vans. Every time I look at them I fall in love again. They are amazing. The other shoes are small heels I bought for last summer’s wedding.

Oh shit… this blogpost got waaaay to long! I really talk too much, so I’m wondering, did any of you made it till here? Did you read all the text or did you only look at the pictures? I’m actually curious so let me know!

And also, let me know what you’re favorite secondhanded found is! (If you buy secondhanded clothes). I think my over-all favorite is are my vans or my checkered blazer!

How to thrift clothes?

How to thrift clothes?

I think I was fifteen or so when my mom took me to thrift store for the first time. I was redecorating my room, my mom was upgrading the living room. Ever since that day I fell in love with thrifting, I love to go trough all the clutter and looking for some pearls. But it was around last year that I started thrifting clothes. We have a very big and nice thrift store in my hometown, but something that I never knew is that they have a huge section of clothes. My mom only ever took me to the home-decor and furniture sections.

I’ve always been a sucker for cheap clothes, you won’t ever see me paying more than €15 on any piece of clothing. (Except for shoes, can’t beat a good pair of Dr. Martens). So, when I found out about the clothing sections in thrift store I was in cloud nine. But not only physical stores, also webshops like Depop or Dutch versions of it really caught my attention. Because it’s not only good for my bank account, it’s also very good for the environment!

Not that I’m such a nature-oriented hippie, but it is very important to take a little care of our earth sometimes . So, it does feel really good to buy things secondhanded. I actually can’t even remember the last thing that I bought in a regular store… It really has been a while since I found anything good at H&M or Zara. Most times it’s just too expensive for me, I got used to the thriftstore-prices now. €3 for a sweater? That’s more like it!

I can’t really give you any great tips on how to find the perfect clothing items in a second handed store. On a webshop like Depop it’s very easy, fill in your size, the piece your looking for and voila! There it is. In a thriftstore this works a little differently… The best thing to do is just to keep looking, go through every single piece. It takes a little time, but trust me, it’s worth it. That feeling when you find the perfect sweater, or jeans, or jacket, it’s just amazing.

So, just take your time, look at every clothing piece and don’t give up! And if you didn’t find anything, no worries, just go visit another thrift store or come back in a few days. You never know when someone is going to drop off some beauty’s. Another thing to do is don’t look at the sizes, like really. Last week I found a beautiful, no, magnificent dress. But it was a size small. And normally I wear a size large. But I decided to just try it on, and well. It suited me perfectly. Okay, maybe not perfectly, it’s a very little bit too small but who cares. For just a couple of euro’s I couldn’t resist it. I needed the dress. So, just try it on, even if it’s not your size. You may be surprised about how misleading some of the size labels are.

And last but not least, be creative. Found something that’s not completely your style? Go DIY it, just take a pair of scissors and some textile-glue (or a sewing machine if you’re that talented, I’m definitely not). Just make an old piece look brand new again! Last month I found a gorgeous blouse, the color was just so me and the fabric was very stylish. But, it had some really ugly fringes at the bottom. You don’t think I’m going to leave it with that right? I needed that blouse, so I took a pair of scissors, cut off all the fringes and asked my mother for some help. She actually knows how to use a sewing machine, so she fixed the rest of my blouse. And now I have a new favorite piece for just €5!

You know, my intention of this blogpost was to show you all my thrifted and secondhanded clothes. But I got too caught up in the whole thrifting-story that I don’t really have place for those pictures anymore. But that only means that I’ve got some more blogposts to come.

Say yay to thrifting! I will speak to you next time, and I promise, I will show you all of my (best,) secondhanded founds!

What’s in my bag? (Media student)

What's in my bag

So, my first week at University is over, I survived it! No, I’m kidding, I was really looking forward to be back at school. I’ve been sitting at home since March and it was so great to be back. Also, I am going to study at another school for 6 months, which also means a new class. So I’ve met a lot of new people and I’m always in for that. I will definitely tell you more about what I’m studying right now but that’s for another post.

Today I’ve got a ‘What’s in my bag?’ for you! When studying something with Media, Design and Communication I got quite a bag full of stuff I need to take to school every day (Not every day, still got so me online classes).

My first bag is my backpack, this more of a normal packed bag. Most people take these stuff to Uni I guess. It contains, most important, my laptop. Without my laptop I’m nothing, I need it to write essays, look up information and also to edit and design. I’m using the Adobe Creative Cloud programms for my education, really the best programms to exist!

Next I take my laptop-essentials as in my mouse, an external hard drive and my charger. Also, my phone charger is a really important thing not to forget! Just as my earphones, if I’m traveling by train it takes about 1.5 hour to get at school so music is a must! (I’m always taking two pairs of earphones with me, bluetooth ones and regular ones, just in case).

I also take a pencil case, one or two notebooks and my planner, very old-skool stuff ;). And last, a deodorant, scrunchie and some sunglasses, always useful!

Then, my second bag. This is my camera-bag, I actually bought this bag yesterday, got it secondhanded! Give me a yay for thrifting!

So, very surprising, this bag contains my (very pretty and new) camera. I actually never really told you about my new camera but this is it, ain’t it pretty? Love the retro-look. Next to my camera I always take an extra battery, an extra SD-card, the battery charger, a spirit level and an extra lens!

I got myself a 50mm 1.8fp lens and I’m really happy with it, it’s beautiful for taking portrait photo’s or video’s, I haven’t really used it yet but I’m sure I am going to need it this year!

And then, the most heavy and big thing that actually doesn’t fit inside this bag; my tripod. I got this from my grandpa (he used to be a proffesional photographer but sadly not anymore). He didn’t use it anymore so he gave it to me!

Well, that was a very long story for just a bag-tour. On the days I really need to take all these stuff I mostly travel by car. it is not very convenient to take everything with you on the bus and train.

What’s something you always take with you to school? Something special?

5 days in France (+video)

5 days in France

Even though summer is almost over, it’s raining again and I’m almost back in school, I still really wanted to write a blogpost about my summer in France. Or rather, 5 days in France. Originally I was going to Croatia this year, but sadly I wasn’t aloud anymore because of the virus.

So my parents invited me and my boyfriend to come and visit them on a small campside in France. Of course we couldn’t say no to that. So on the 9th of August I drove (together with my boyfriend) all the way to Jard-sur-Mer in France. And all I can say is that is was a wonderful summer trip. Even though we only went there for 5 days, it was one of the best vacations I ever had.

We swam in the wavy sea, went to a big aqua-theme-park, visited two beautiful cities and played a lot of card games. And over all I was just really happy that I got to spend to much time with my family, we had a lot of fun.

Before we went on this little trip I ordered a (new) camera. I needed one for my study (I will probably tell you more about this later), but I decided to order one already so I could also take it on vacation. It gave me some time to practise with it. And that’s what I did! I made a small video of this trip and I think it turned out pretty great!

Everytime I watch it, it takes me back to those golden summer days. Where the sun was shining all day long and all I could worry about was the sea salt in my hair. Why can’t it stay summer forever?

So, that were my 5 days in France, 5 wonderful and relaxing days. Even though the whole virus-thing that’s going o right now, I still had one of the most amazing summers ever. In one of my previous posts I told you about my trip to Poland, which was also amazing. So I’m very thankful that I could still go on two (!) vacations, I know a lot of you haven’t been able to travel this year.

So let me know what you have been doing this summer? Have you enjoyed it as much as I did, I hope so!

xoxo Anne

My trip to Poland

My trip to Poland

First of all, welcome back. Everytime I tell myself to go and start blogging more I just don’t do it. I don’t know why, guess it’s because I’m just so short on time. Really, this summer is flying by like crazy. And so did my trip to Poland. Which is what I am going to talk about today.

It kind of felt like I needed to explain myself, I don’t know why but it just feels that way. I’ve been offline on my blog and on Instagram for a pretty long time and suddenly I was back, and in Poland. So here comes my story.

This year, 2020, was the year that one of my best friends was getting married in Poland. So it was kind of obvious that me and my friends would go there. So in January we booked the trip to Poland, we decided to not just go to the wedding but also make a great vacation out of it. So we booked our stays for 10 days! Ever since we booked our trip I’ve been so excited about it, I was looking forward to it and I was just really, really happy.

But well, Corona came, so the wedding was sort of cancelled, and so was our trip. And I was really sad about it, but I still kept hoping. Around a month before we left we got the call: The trip and the wedding were still on! So we had just four weeks to plan the rest of the trip, start packing, buying stuff and it was a lot!

But we made it, on the 20th of July we drove to the airport. Me, two of my best friends and my boyfriend. With waaay to big and heavy suitcases we arrived in Krakow, a beautiful city my friends and I already visited last year. But this year we were going a little bit more to the south, to Zywiec to be exact.

The first night we spent at a beautiful hotel on top of a mountain, this hotel was actually the same location as where the wedding would take place in 5 days. It was a great stay but we were all so tired of traveling that we went to bed very early.

The next day we went to the little cabins where we would stay for 6 days. The cabins were very modern, clean and big. And the view was amazing! I am so in love with mountains, we don’t have them in the Netherlands so I was super excited right away. The four days before the wedding we spent by visiting small cities, swimming and sailing the lake, having a lot of drinks (beers), bbq’s and relaxation. It was a great and very chill week.

And then, on the 25th of July, the day was there. The wedding! I am not going to tell you so much about that because it’s kind of private. But let’s just say that it was a lot of fun. The ceremony was just beautiful and we had a lot of great, Polish food. The wedding lasted for two days (yes, that’s how they do it in Poland), so on the monday after we were exhausted.

And that monday was the day we left off to Warsaw, we took two trains and travelled for almost 4 hours. But we made it to the capital city of Poland! A beautiful and super cozy city. I really fell in love with that city. The architecture was amazing! We just wandered around the city for two days, explored the beautiful places and ate at super delicious restaurants. It was only two days but I enjoyed it so much!

And on the 30th of July, yesterday, we flew back. At around 3pm we we’re back in the Netherlands. It just felt and feels so weird to be back home, it’s like I never even went on this trip, except for all the pictures and video’s I have. The aftermovie will come later, need to find some time to work on that! 😉

And actually, I would leave the Netherlands again tomorrow to go on another vacation. I was invited to go to Croatia with my boyfriend’s family. But Corona screwed it up, around a week ago we got the message that the whole trip was cancelled. So that’s very sad, but it’s also nice to be home and not having to hurry.

Wow, what a long and big blogpost it was. But I just missed it so much. The whole blogging thing. But lately I’ve been working on something else, let’s say this website is getting a big big update. But I will tell you more about that later, I’m still working on it.

I hope you all are enjoying your summer and you also were able to travel a little bit this year?

Let me know what your summer looks like! I’m very curious!

xoxo Anne

Life update – May

life update - may

It’s actually 11pm when I’m writing this, and that on a schoolnight… What’s happening? Well first of all, my sleeping schedule is just fucked up, normally I would be sleeping right now and waking up at 6:30 am in the morning. But things changed, because of the quarantine I can sleep till 9 am everyday. So I’m automatically going to bed later. But that’s like not the point of this blogpost. Today I just wanted to give you guys a little update on me. It’s been a couple of weeks since I uploaded a blogpost, and it’s also been a couple of weeks since I posted anything on Instagram.

Me being a little inactive has a couple of reasons. First of all, I am out of inspiration. I don’t know what to write about, I don’t know what to take pictures of. I just haven’t really been so creative and inspired lately. And the reason for that is that I’ve been just so tired for the last two or three weeks. School had brought me a lot of stress, I had a second chance for an assessment. Luckily me and my project group passed it. But I’ve been stressing a lot about it.

Also, I’ve been stressing a lot about work. I told you guys I had a new job and I am working a lot from home right now. But I don’t know if that really is something for me, I just can’t get myself to relax. I am always thinking about work, about how I need to make hours to earn money. I just can’t get it out of my head, and everytime I am not working, I feel so guilty. So I just cannot allow myself to do anything fun, which is stupid of course. I am still a student and work is not my priority right now, school is. And I do need to enjoy my time of being a student still. Got plenty of time to work when I’m graduated…

Another reason for being inactive is that I’ve been doing a lot of fun things with friends lately. Here in the Netherlands we are allowed to hang out with people as long as we keep enough distance. So I had a lot of girlsnights. Which meant drinking, playing games, listening to music and laughing a lot! I also had vacation for a week, which I spend very well. I went thrifting with my boyfriend and found some really nice things, maybe I’ll show you those later? I also went picknicking with friends and I just had a lot of fun. Didn’t felt like being in a lockdown for a moment. So I needed that, just no Instagram and no blogging. Living in the moment. It’s a good thing sometimes!

But now I am back, because I’ve got the time again, and inspiration! I have quite some ideas where to write blogposts about, so be prepared! A lot of fun things to come. For my Instagram I don’t know… I tried doing a at-home-photoshoot today but it didn’t really work out as good as I hoped. Still need some photo-inspiration. But Pinterest will definitely help me with that!

So that was a quick, not so short blogpost about myself. Maybe a bit of a boring one? But I just needed to express myself today haha. Hope you liked it! And I will see you next time, with a (hopefully) more interesting blogpost!

And let me know, how are you doing? Are you allowed to meet your friends and do fun things?

xoxo

I ordered some stuff online…

I ordered some stuff online...

I’ve always been a shopping addict, if that wasn’t already clear. But now all the stores are closed I needed to fill up my needs with something else. Online shopping. I have to say, I hate online shopping, I just want to see the things in real life, feel them and try them on before I pay for it. And also, I hate paying shipping costs. But now I have admitted to it… I ordered some stuff online, and because most of it is from AliExpress, it hasn’t arrived yet (remember how I told you I was going to quit on Ali? Joke is on me).

But, I already received three packages, and that’s what I am going to show you today. Just because I’ve got nothing else to do, do you? Stuck in quarantine, life is boring right…

So the first one, you probably have seen them on my gram, couldn’t resist taking millions of pictures of them (they are just soooo aesthetic). It are my first Nikes ever. Believe it or not, I never actually owned Nikes before. First, because I am not a sneaker kinda girl, I always walked in my Dr. Martens or other boots but sneakers have never really been my thing. And second, I always bought really cheap shoes, as in: shoes for €7 at the H&M. But it had to change because I deserve real shoes hahah. I found these shoes by accident on the internet and after that I couldn’t get them out of my head. They are so pretty! And the best part of all, they were only €35, what a deal right? So now thet are mine! You can shop them here!

Second package is something really spontaneous. You probably don’t know this but I wear contacts. But sometimes my eyes get tired or dry and that’s when I want to wear glasses. I owned two pair of glasses, but I kind of disliked both of them. But I wouldn’t allow myself to buy new ones, three pair of glasses is a bit overdone. But than my mom’s glasses broke down and I gave her one of mine, since I never wore them anymore. So now I only had one pair left, and that’s when I did allow myself to order a new one. So I found this website called Firmoo, they sell really cheap but really pretty glasses online, it’s a bit of a risk but it was worth trying. I am so happy with this pair of glasses! In the end I paid like €35 for these, because my boyfriend ordered a pair too and the second one was for free. So another amazing deal!

The last package came in today and it are earrings! I have a lot of earrings, I admit, but they all are so cheap, and you can see that. Almost all of my (cheap) earrings are rusted or discolored. So I decided I wanted to replace them all for better earrings. And that I am also going to take better care of my jewelry. Did you know they discolor by just laying in the open air? I didn’t, so I never storage my jewelry in a box. But now I am definitely going to do that, don’t want these pretty earrings to discolor or rust again! I got these at a Dutch, small online shop called: Musthavejewelry. They had this deal where you could order 3 pairs of earrings for the price of 2. So I got these three hoops for just €10. (Okay, they are probably not the best quality, it’s still very cheap, but I assume it’s better than the jewelry I had since they were only €1 for 10 or so).

It’s crazy how much I can talk about just three items right? I hope you found it interesting and you made it to the end. So, when all my earrings are In I would like to write a jewelry stash, but I am actually also looking for a cute necklace, some that doesn’t discolor as well, so have to keep looking and saving. If any of you got any good tips on this topic I would love to hear from you!

What’s the last or best thing you have ordered online?

xoxo

My latest school-projects!

My latest school-projects!

Two weeks ago I had two huge deadlines, but I made it! It were two assignments I had been working on for over 8 weeks, and after 5 weeks or so I ended up in quarantine. So I guess we can say I was stressed out about it. But I made it! I handed in two finished projects and I am actually really proud of what I made! I already updated my portfolio so there is a change you’ve already seen it, but I guess not since my website isn’t that popular!

I will just put on a very short summary of my assignments, if you want to read more about it I do suggest you to take a look at my portfolio!

My first assignment was to make a data visualization, so that meant animating again. Not really my favorite thing in the world since I find that very hard to do. But in the end I did like the assignment, mostly because I chose to do it about my all time favorite person: Lana Del Rey. So for this project and did everything myself: I made the style, made the designs and animated it. Took a lot of hours… But the end-result isn’t that bad, I actually got a 9 out of 10 for it! Take a look at the video down below to see my data-visualization about Lana Del Rey!

The second assignment was to make a campaign book, we got a few topics to chose from and I picked education. So long story short: I had to come up with a new brand and a whole campaign to advertise a new education system. This also took me a lot of hours, but it was so much fun to do! I put so much effort in this, but it was all worth it, I am really happy with the end result and I also learned a lot! This whole book is in Dutch, I am sorry! But we all speak the language of images so maybe you will understand some of it.

And now I’ve got a huge new project, but this project isn’t individual so I got a project group to do it with. But that is very hard since the school are all closed. But well, we got Skype, Teams, Whatsapp and Discord so enough ways to communicate.

But I do miss school, well, I mostly miss my University-friends and going out with them… I just have to stay patient for now, and keep working on my projects, making sure I will make it. We already failed on one of our group-assignments so we really have to do our bests now. No time to be bored or lazy…

How are you doing during home-schooling? Are you busy or bored?

Throwback Thursday #1 – Norway

Throwback Thursday #1 - Norway

Today I wanted to try something new! A Throwback Thursday, not a very original title but well, who cares. I liked it! So, a couple of days ago I asked you guys to ask me some questions on Instagram so I could do a Q&A here on my blog, but sadly I am not so popular so I got like 3 questions. Sad huh. But one of the questions did inspire me to write this blogpost and to start a new series on my blog! Welcome to Throwback Thursday #1!

So the question that I got was: ‘Whats the most inspiring place you have ever visited?’ And the answer came right away: Norway. Without any doubt the most beautiful, peaceful and inspiring place I have ever been. So I wanted to look at the pictures we made back then, and that’s when I found our photo album. Not so aesthetic because it’s been made digital haha.

So here we go back, to Norway, 2013.

I was thirteen years old, just finished my first year of middle school. A hard year for a insecure and shy girl like me. But everything was fine because I was going to Norway with my family. And they meant (and still mean) everything to me. My parents visited Norway in 1999, they actually found out that my mom was pregnant of me in Norway. So it was kind of special, they loved the country so much and really wanted to show us it’s beauty.

We traveled around the country for three weeks. Started in Oslo, a beautiful city. But the thing I remember most is that is was so f*cking hot, it’s never hot in Norway but this time it was. Guess we were lucky.

I can’t remember everything we did or saw, it’s almost seven years ago. But somehow I will never forget this roadtrip with my lovely family. We stayed in the most cozy little cabins and bungalows, on the top of a mountain with views that were breathtaking. We hiked a lot, discovered the beautiful and quiet nature. I remember we took a really hard hike to get on top of a mountain. We did expect a beautiful view but it was more than that. It was wonderful, and we were the only people there, so with just the five of us we saw the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

Those deep blue fjords, green mountains and light blue skies. Best memory ever.

Another memory is when we were staying in this crazy big bungalow, the farmer told us to close the gates at night because otherwise the wild cows would come and break down our car. At night we could hear all the wild animals, at day we had a private mountain. The mountain belonged to the farmer but we got the keys too. So we went up and there was snow! In the bungalow we found some sleds, so the next day we went back on the mountain and went sledding the whole afternoon. It was summer remember?

So all the memories are starting to get back now, what a great time we had. Wish I can go back, my brothers and I aren’t so close anymore, and I am not going on vacation with my parents anymore. But that’s on growing up.

For now I just wish for this quarantine to be over soon so I can go make some new memories again! Because memories never fade. And this roadtrip to Norway will never be forgotten, it was just too special and too amazing. When I’m older, and have enough money to afford it, I will definitely go back there some day!

And how about you? Ever been to Norway?  Or is there another country that’s just special to you?
